We were so honored to be able to photograph the wedding of Jordan and Marina Jacques in downtown Phoenix. Their day began with prayer as Jordan gathered with his groomsmen and prayed for the day, for Marina, for each other. As I was listening in on the guys’ prayers, I was preparing my camera to capture these sweet moments when one groomsman specifically prayed for “no distractions” Ummm … should I be taking pictures now? I took just one and let the guys continue with their time with the Lord. I love the image of Jordan in concentrated prayer for his bride.
Their wedding was held at the Roosevelt Church downtown and their reception was held at MonOrchid right across the street. Their ceremony was beautiful, prayerful, and perfect. We took a walk downtown after the ceremony for some really fun portraits of Jordan and Marina, who were naturals in front of the camera! It was really fun walking around downtown with them because complete strangers were telling them congratulations, giving them high-fives and smiling at their beauty. One guy even asked me if it was “for real”. Uh, yes. Yes it is. It’s as real as it gets.
Jordan and Marina, you two are beautiful and blessed and we were so blessed to be with you on your wedding day. Congratulations!
