I’m not sure how it happened, but Madyson is 11. Her mom and I have been friends since we were in Jr. High and though we’ve shared years and years of memories, it seems unreal how quickly our kids are growing, Mady in particular. (Preparing to sound super old) I remember when Madyson was born. I remember holding her as a newborn and being amazed at her gorgeous red hair. I remember watching her toddle around their house, then watching her as a three-year-old hold my newborn daughter in her arms and tell me how cute she was. Now at family get-togethers Mady helps out with the little kids and texts with my daughter on iPods. She’s taller than me now, which isn’t saying much because I am kind of short but there’s something wrong about having Madyson look down on me from above! She rides horses and has such a passion for riding and caring for them. It’s amazing to watch this girl ride! We had so much fun capturing Mady’s passion at her session at the barn.
Madyson, I’m not sure how it can be possible that you’re 11 now but you grow more beautiful every day and we love you like crazy. But, hey, stop getting so tall or I’m going to have to bring out a ladder to take your photo!!
