You know how sometimes your first impression of someone is totally and completely correct? I realize it doesn’t happen often, but I had that experience with Mandy when I met her to chat about her wedding in Cottonwood. Within a few minutes, I felt like I’d known her and her amazing mom for years and I knew I really wanted to photograph her wedding, which was sure to be so much fun! It wasn’t just the setting that made me want to be a part of it (though green fields, barn doors, and old trucks did sound like photographic bliss) it was how kind Mandy and her mom were and how fun they were to be around that made me super excited to have the honor of being their photographer. The wedding was set at Mandy’s home and in the nearby area and we had a blast doing their photos. Even better than the setting was the incredible love between Mandy and Brandon and that always makes for beautiful photographs and cherished memories. 🙂
Though we are always tired after a wedding, we talked a lot on the way home about how much fun we had and how every person we met was amazingly warm, welcoming and kind. Mandy’s family, in particular were a joy to work with and be around. Thank you Mandy and Brandon for having us be a part of your special day, we were honored to help you capture the beautiful day you and Brandon celebrated. We wish you all the happiness in the world.
